his greatest fear is of losing shirou. tease him as he might, he can't handle the idea of him ever being gone. he is the one person that hiroki cares about more than anyone or anything else in the world.
hiroki is in fact not related to the 'sakurai' family at all. he was adopted into it after being sold out to pay their debts to the drug lords by his parents. his real surname is 'kobayashi'. he has not forgotten it by does not talk about it to anyone. ever.
he is afraid of never seeing his family again. while he knows that his parents may very well be fine, he does not know what has become of his siblings. and as a result, he more than often is worried that they are dead or worse. he wants to see them again. at least once.
although his profession does not exactly give off the idea, hiroki is actually rather adept at doing household chores like cooking, cleaning, and sewing. he is particularly ashamed of it however and very rarely will exhibit such skills outside of the household.

HOBBIES & HABITS

he enjoys cooking. it is one of his favorite pastimes. it isn't exactly what you could call manly however an as a result, he does not do it particularly often unless asked.
he has to keep his hands busy. if he's even just standing or something, he is often playing with a coin that he keeps in his pocket. or he may very well be tapping his fingers on a table. just something. he tries to keep his hands constantly busy.
he practices often. hiroki is trained in most if not all martial art forms. while he is not a professional by any means, he is particularly capable of holding his own without a weapon in his hands. as a result, he practices often to make sure that he does not forget how to defend himself and shirou in case the situation should arise.
hiroki hates asking for help. if he has a problem, he prefers to correct it himself rather than rely on other people to fix it for him.

AMBITIONS:

hiroki wants to be more than what he is. he does not know what that is yet. but he does not want to be a bodyguard for the rest of his life. he wants to make something of himself.
~~become shirou's bride~~ hiroki hopes to eventually be able to tell shirou just exactly what he feels for him. but that requires nerves. and nerves for something like this is not something that hiro has.
he wants to get stronger. physically especially. he doesn't want to think that he will not win for even a minute. if he thinks that way, he loses. that's all there is to it.

IMPORTANT TID-BITS

hiroki was sold into the sakurai family who at the time was important to drug trafficking. he met shirou around the time they were both children as a result.
shirou's father seemed to have taken a shine to him and prior to his death, he made hiroki promise to watch over his son. which naturally. he agreed to. he was later employed as something of a bodyguard.
he lost contact with his family some time ago and has yet to speak with them. it has been over twelve years since he has seen any of them.
